    ĐÁP ÁN:

    1. Global warming is the increase in the earth's average surface temperature due to the warming effects of greenhouse gases.

    2. The main cause of global warming is the burning of fossil fuels, such as natural gas, oil, and coal.

    3. Even slight increases in the levels of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere can cause a significant rise in temperature.

    4. There is a connection between the recent droughts and climate change.

    5. Farming contributes more than 30 percent of the total greenhouse gas emissions.

    6. The overuse of chemical fertilizers is a serious threat to the environment.

    7. The warming of the earth's atmosphere causes a sea-level rise.

    8. Many animal species are in danger of extinction due to the loss of their habitat and inability to adapt to climate change.

    9. Global warming may lead to extreme weather events, including heatwaves, floods, and powerful storms, which could affect people's lives.

    10. Every one of us can help to protect and sustain our environment by changing our consumption habits.

    2) Write an essay of between 160-180 words on global warming, using the outline below.

    A.  Introduction: introduce the topic and the main content of the essay

    B. Body:

    - Explain what global warming is

    - Explain what global warming is Explain the main cause of global warming

    - Discuss three of the main impacts on humans and the natural world

    C. Conclusion:

summarise the main points and state your opinion

    ĐÁP ÁN:

One of the biggest problems facing humans nowadays is global warming. The Earth is heating up: warmer temperatures are causing changes in climate around the world. Human demand for natural resources has increased rapidly, especially in developing countries. Human activities have led to the pollution of the environment, threatening living conditions for millions of species, including people themselves. If we do not take action to reduce the risks now, the impacts of global warming on us will become more and more severe. The essay will discuss the problem of global warming, its causes and effects and suggest some solutions for it.

Global warming is the rise in the average temperature of the earth due to the increase of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide, carbon monoxide, methane and others in the atmosphere. People pollute the environment by burning fossil fuels; cutting down trees for farmland, wood, and paper; increasing the use of chemical fertilizers on croplands... Human activities have serious consequences on life on Earth. We have so far witnessed more severe storms, heatwaves, droughts, floods, and high tides. Under extreme weather conditions, people have to suffer heat-related illnesses and infectious diseases.

Global warming is seriously affecting our life on Earth in many ways, so every one of us should do something to reduce it. Begin at home by reducing energy use: unplug all electronic devices when they are not used, avoid lighting at day time, use solar energy instead; saving clean water; planting trees or growing our own foods. Walking and biking to work are green methods of transport, also they are good for health.

In conclusion, global warming is threatening human beings and millions of species Earth. The Earth is the common home for all of us and because of this great attention should be paid to environmental problems. Taking small but effective actions such reducing energy use, saving natural resources, planting trees or using green means of transportation can make the Earth a better place to live.
