    I. LÝ THUYẾT

    A) Thì hiện tại hoàn thành

    B) Thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn

    1) Khái niệm

    Thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn (Present perfect continuous) là thì dùng để chỉ hành động xảy ra trong quá khứ nhưng vẫn tiếp tục ở hiện tại và có khả năng tiếp diễn trong tương lai. Hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn nhấn mạnh về khoảng thời gian của hành động đã xảy ra nhưng không có kết quả rõ rệt.

    2) Công thức thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn

    (+): S + has/have + been + V-ing I have been shopping all afternoon.
    ( - ): S + hasnˈt/havenˈt + been + V-ing We haven’t been waiting here for over two hours.

    ( ? ): Has/have + S + been + V-ing +… ?

    Yes, S + have/ has.

    No, S + haven’t/ hasn’t.

    Has she been working at that company for three years?

    Yes, she has.

     

     

    3) Cách sử dụng thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn

    ► Diễn tả một hành động hoặc sự việc bắt đầu trong quá khứ và kéo dài liên tục đến hiện tại.

    Ví dụ: They have been celebrating for more than a week up until now.

    ► Diễn tả một hành động vừa mới kết thúc và có kết quả ở hiện tại.

    Ví dụ: You have been playing with my lipstick the whole morning, right?

    Lưu ý: Thì hiện tại hoàn thành nhấn mạnh tính hoàn tất của hành động còn hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn nhấn mạnh tính liên tục và kéo dài của hành động.

     

    4) Dấu hiệu nhận biết thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn

    ►Thì hiện tại hoàn thành tiếp diễn có các dấu hiệu nhận biết như sau:

    + All day, all week

    + Since

    + For, for a long time

    + Almost every day this week

    + Recently, lately

    + In the past week, in recent years

    + Up until now

    + So far

     

    C) So sánh kép

    So sánh kép được sử dụng để mô tả những sự vật, sự việc đang tăng hoặc đang giảm.

    Cấu trúc:

    + Tính từ ngắn/ trạng từ ngắn + -ER and tính từ ngắn/ trạng từ ngắn + -ER

    + MORE AND MORE + tính từ dài/ trạng từ dài

    + MORE/ FEWER AND MORE/ FEWER + danh từ

     

    Ví dụ:

    + It got darker and darker as we went deeper into the cave.

    (Trời càng lúc càng tối khi chúng tôi đi sâu hơn vào trong hang.)

    + Things are getting more and more expensive these days.

    (Dạo gần đây mọi thứ càng ngày càng đắt đỏ.)

    + In Australia, more and more students choose to study French at school.

    (Ở Úc, ngày càng nhiều học sinh chọn học tiếng Pháp ở trường.)

    + The altheles are running faster and faster as they are approaching the finishing line.

    (Các vận động đang chạy càng lúc càng nhanh khi họ đang tiến về vạch đích.)

     

    II. BÀI TẬP

    1) Put the verbs in brackets in the present perfect or present perfect continuous.

    1. I (clean) ............................ the whole house. Does it look nice and tidy?

    2. For many years, the villagers (try) ............................ very hard to bring back the old custom.
