    I. LÝ THUYẾT 

    A) Cụm động từ

    Cụm động từ gồm một động từ, một trạng từ và một giới từ.

     

    B) Mệnh đề trạng ngữ

    Mệnh đề trạng ngữ là một mệnh đề phụ thuộc có chức năng như một trạng từ. Sau đây là một số mệnh đề trạng ngữ:

     

    ► Mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ điều kiện với liên từ if/ unless. Nó đưa ra một giả định, có thật hoặc không có thật.

    Ví dụ: What would you buy if you won the lottery?

     

    ► Mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ sự so sánh bắt đầu bằng than, as…as. Nó so sánh kỹ năng, kích cỡ hay lượng.

    Ví dụ: Lee can speak English as fluently as her teacher. 

     

    ► Mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ cách thức bắt đầu bằng as (if), like, the way. Nó diễn đạt cái gì được làm như thế nào.

    Ví dụ: He acts as if it was a joke.

     

    ► Mệnh đề trạng ngữ chỉ kết quả bắt đầu bằng so…that/ such…that. Nó diễn tả kết quả của hành động.

    Ví dụ: Jack was so tired that he couldn’t go on with his work.

     

     

    II. BÀI TẬP
