I) LÝ THUYẾT NỐI NGUYÊN ÂM VỚI NGUYÊN ÂM
- Trong tiếng Anh, hiện tượng nối âm nguyên âm với nguyên âm giúp cho việc phát âm dễ dàng hơn và tự nhiên hơn. Ví dụ như trong tiếng Anh - Anh, phụ âm nối /r/ có thể xuất hiện ở giữa nguyên âm /ə/ hoặc /ɔː/ ở cuối một từ và nguyên âm đầu của từ tiếp theo.

- Trong tiếng Anh Anh, những từ kết thúc bằng –r hoặc –re đều được phiên âm bằng một nguyên âm ở cuối. Tuy nhiên, -r/-re thường được phát âm khi nó được theo sau bởi một từ bắt đầu bằng một nguyên âm.
